I'm having a hard time with this battery driver thing. I was wondering how many of you also use a today plug-in on your 5400 that reports battery levels.

I am wondering if there's some sort of corrolation between the use of battery level monitoring Today Plug-Ins and this problem where the device won't recognize AC Power input.

I was using Omega One Battery Bar but it never seemed to give the right reading, and I also read somewhere that it drained the battery slightly faster anyway.

Now I use PocketMon (from Sprite Software) and that seems to respond better to the current usage and enabled devices (Bluetooth/WiFi etc). It seems to have a smaller footprint.

If you are having a problem with your 5400 recognizing its AC Adapter,

If you are refering to a charging problem post rom upgrade
then you only need to RE-INITIALIZE your battery via
the standby slider (moving it to one side and then the other)
and then reboot. There is no mention of this anywhere but
after performing the above the problem apparently corrected
itself. This is a known upgrade issue.
