with under a week till ppc '03 is "offical" i'm woundering if the idea for X7 has been scrapped. :cry: There hasn't been any real rumors other than it is/was going to be wireless, adn that was givin a loooonnnnggg time ago. We've seen toshiba's new ppc, the new Ipaq's rumors of X3 but no X7 in sight...

say it aimn't so :cry:

more and more people are buying the 2210's, dell's just losing customers with everyday. I'm going to get a 2210 in a couple of weeks. Unless dell gives us SOMETHING. A picture is worth a 1000 words :D

I bet they ran into some major problems and now have to go back and fix them which would mean higher prices

Dell isn't even building them! I think a company in Japan called HTC makes them, and Dell just pays them to stamp a logo on them.

If I'm also correct, HTC makes the iPaqs, too. So it's impossible for "Dell" to be behind "HP."

I'm not sure, though.

I am POSITIVE that Dell never intended to release anything this week. If you insist on holding your breath for it you're only going to pass out. It's not going to be along until all the hooplah over the new OS and the other new PDAs is over. THEN they can make a splash and not get lost in the shuffle, for one thing. That's why they have been so prompt about offering the upgrade, because they were not planning on putting out new models quite yet. The Axim hasn't even been out a year, people!

Actually that is a plus, right ? By the time Dell's new model is out, there will be plenty users of the 2210 out there, with their opinion. By that time, you can make a consicous choice.
