Personally I never played the 300 mhz axim, but I played with a samsung i700, which is using the same 300 mhz processor. I find it unsatisfactory. Running pocketMVP to view divx, it dropped 10+% of the frames.

You really should go with 400mhz version.

Pocket Nester for NES games runs great; as there are currently no SNES or GBA emulators that deliver even halfway decent performance on ANY PPC I've never bothered trying to dl any of them. Don't expect to be able to play those games on your PPC; NES is as good as it gets right now.
