I am so excited! :ladysman:

My wife bought me a leather Scott's eVest for father's day.

I can't wait to get it.

Has anyone else here pre-ordered one? Have you heard any update as to when they will be ready to ship? :sunny:

Awesome! Although, in addition to "being a good father and husband," you also obviously have a terriffic wife!

I got a couple shirts :!:

It's also my daughters 1st birthday, so we spent the day letting her do whatever she wanted. She had a great day, and is having the best sleep of her life right now. :D

That is soooo true.... I can't begin to put in to words just how teriffic she is.

Thank you for pointing that out Crystal. I meant to say that in my original post, but I was so excited I forgot the part that was most obvious.

Happy birthday to your daughter. :bday: :new-bday: It was such a beautiful day here, I took my 11 year old daughter and infant son for a bike ride. My wonderful wife couldn't join us because she was preparing a lesson plan for Bible School.

I got ICO. It's one of the most amazingly atmospheric games/adventures I've ever seen for a PC or game platform. Played it 2 years ago, and I'm playing it again. Some of the POVs are just breathtaking. And no shooting! <:)

It's my daughters 3rd Birthday today...Mine had a great day as well! Dad, the clown, installed a ceiling fan. She was laughing her head off, I wasn't...

Ceiling fans rock. Installing them, as you have observed, isn't nearly as much fun as using them.

If it's any consolation, I was working all day in the city. I got to roam from the very downtown edges back uptown in my headquarters. At least the weather was awesome for a change. :)

P.S. Congrats nosmohtac. Brad would be proud of you! Take pictures once you're wearing it and show it to us... :D

Happy Birthday to your daughter as well Steve. :bday: :new-bday:
I know what you mean about the ceiling fan. I was wondering though, if you were dressed as a clown when you did this, did the fan end up looking like your avatar upside-down?

Thanks Janak, I will try and do that.

It is "The Cheat", a character from flash animations at http://www.homestarrunner.com

It's a "creature", who in that image is laying in a box and holding up a TV remote. The box is on the floor in front of a couch.

The creature is not readily identifiable, but I believe it is related to a "Cheetah". This is my own opinion, and not backed by anything besides the name, a VAGUELY cat-like appearance, and the spots he has.

Wow! Thanks for all the birthday wishes. I'll pass them along to her when I get home tonight.

No Ceiling fans here, I did cut the lawn while she directed me from the deck. Pointing and screaming the whole time! She also got to play lawnmower a little later in the day. She was sitting on the front lawn pulling the grass out and tossing it in the air. All while she watched daddy wash, dry, and vacuum the car. I might have to go and buy some grass seed to fix that spot now. :(

I have to admit, I was kind of wishing for a geek gift. Oh well, my wife knows I'm holding on to my 3650 until the new models are out later this month. And even then, I'm still undecided about getting a SPV and going the one device route. :)

Not to nitpick  , but I if I remember right, the box is a refrigerator crisper drawer... and one of the Cheat's new priviliges.

This has been a (minor) point of disagreement between Kati and I. I perceive the Cheat as an alien (as does the yearbook (http://www.homestarrunner.com/yearbookc.html)). How exactly would a cheetah have a gold tooth? And play a synthesizer (http://www.homestarrunner.com/sbemail76.html)? ;)

Absolutely true (http://www.homestarrunner.com/sbemail74.html).

Peanuts Halloween special from the 60's.......every one gets candy except Charlie Brown....who says at every door "I got a rock"
Steve gave me a good chuckle when I saw it.

I recieved many cards (one was homade in the shape of a tie), and a very nice dress watch. The Mrs cringes at my battle scared (but rock solid) Timex Expedition whenever I have to drag the shirt and tie out......

Yep, but that could be found out from the link. I was trying to describe the picture, and it looks like a box.

How can Homestar do anything with no arms? How can so many men be attracted to a female broom? How can Strong Bad type with those boxing gloves on? (http://www.homestarrunner.com/sbemail63.html) ;)

PS - my cats try to type all the time....

Thanks!!! Every once in a while, instead of a book at night (no not e-books yet) we listen to night-night MP3's on the Pocket PC....
