Anyone have experience with the Nokia 3650? I was thinking of getting one instead of waiting for a MS based smartphone, which can still be another year to wait. And that I can ge the Nokia for $50 after rebates :D

I've got one from Vodafone for a review (and to keep it) and I'm using it instead of my Ericsson T39m.

The only problem is the Bluetooth supports the handsfree profile, and I can't use my Ericsson headset because it implements the headset profile... I have to upgrade it :-)

so are you saying i will not be able to use my motorola bluetooth headset with that phone??

Probably... Check the manual or Motorola's website. If the headset supports only the HEADSET profile, it'll not work with this phone. I have an Ericsson HBH-20 and just received a Bluetake 400 for review. None work with this Nokia.

The new Sony Ericsson HBH-60 does work, and it implements both HEADSET and HANDSFREE profiles.

Again, manufacturer's implementation :evil: ... Like MS with it's Bluetooth receiver :( I don't understand why limit the usability, when the specifiction allows both.

Rick,

Did you end up buying this phone? Can you share your experiences? I've just posted a new thread asking about reported issues of the low ring volume... have you noticed the same?

I'm looking to switch off my T68 onto this 3650. BTW, w/ new service contract, you can get this phone for free from Amazon, but the offer expires after tomorrow!

Thanx Freitasm, I actually read through the review already though I hadn't seen the forum postings until now.

What I'm particularly curious about is any erratic behavior observed from regular users such as a ring volume and such.
