G'Day,
Sorry to bother, but am having a bit of trouble.
Over the last few weeks have had major computer problems and have had to borrow an ASUS K7V-T board with an Athlon 700. (640Meg ram)
On install of windows xp sp1, letting it do the on-line patches etc.
when running either Activesync 3.5 or 3.7 - the system finds in PDA - asks for the password BUT, when it goes to Sync the computer locks...
On the PDA it says that its connecting, but nothing else happens.
The 3870 works fine on its own - but I cannot get a sync.
Ive ensured that there is nothing running on it, turned off as much as possible on the PC also. But it just crashes.
On 1st plug in - WinXP calls it an AERO though - thats the older model right? This could be at fault - but Ive let windows install this by default before... Very odd..
Anyone with similar probs/fixes?
