The Stowaway is a full-size keyboard when open and folds instantly to about the size of your device when closed. The Stowaway is an essential add-on for any user, enabling these devices to live up to their full potential - on the road, at home or away from the office."<br /><br />This is probably because the Stowaway XT is now out, but this is a cheap price for a Stowaway keyboard if you have an iPAQ!

FYI - it also works for the 5450 with the dongle included. It's a little tight to put the dongle on but once on it works absolutely fine - have been using it for a couple months.

Wouldnt it be better AND cheaper to buy one of those USB adapters that they sell for the PPC (I've seen it somewhere), which will allow you to connect hardware which is USB compatible to your PPC?

It's true. Yesterday I just picked up this keyboard at Stapples for only 20$ CAN 8O . Along with Ipaq Stowaways, they also sell the one for HP Jornada for 15$ . Wow, that's I call a deal. They definitly want to get rid of their stock :D

I went to Comp USA during lunch and got one for $29.00. That is what I call a deal!

What is the difference between the Stowaway and Stowaway XT keyboards?
In looking at the Targus.com web site, they don't even mention the XT version there.

I looked up prices on the Stowaway, using services like Pricewatch, and Pricegrabber, and Dealtime, and I didn't see any kind of prices like the $15, $20, $29. I also checked Staples and Compusa sites, didn't see any prices like that. I don't think I saw anything under $60-70.

Targus Adapter available separately?
I am getting the 2210 IPAQ. I have read here that the new Stowaways come with an adapter for the 3800/3900/5400 series, which will also work with the 2210 series. (Does the same software work also, including with the change in OS to 2003?)
BUt--what about if one buys a Stowaway keyboard on Ebay--which doesn't include the adapter? Is it possible to buy the adapter separately? If so, where? (I looked on targus.com, couldn't find the adapter sold as a separate part.)
