British Car Charger?

This topic is really getting on my nerves now. I have people saying that U.S. chargers WILL work, I have people saying they WON'T. I have eXpansys saying that have a Car Charge, but its for "preorder" but it is exactly the same as the foreign Axim websites...

Basically! Has anyone from the United Kingdom of Great Britain managed to make their Axim work connected to a car cigarette lighter?

I bought the TomTom GPS sat nav for my Axim and the connection cable that comes with that also charges the battery. I belive you can get the cable as a separate item too.
I ordered the TomTom from http://www.totalpda.co.uk yesterday and it arrived today at 10:30am works fine too :D

I have an 1984 Jaguar XJ6 -- a real British car -- and my car adapter works just fine.
