<a href="http://maccentral.macworld.com/news/2003/06/03/missing/">http://maccentral.macworld.com/news/2003/06/03/missing/</a><br /><br />"<a href="http://www.markspace.com/">Mark/Space Inc.</a> is preparing Missing Sync for Pocket PC, which will enable users of Pocket PC-based handheld devices to synchronize and exchange content with iCal, Address Book iTunes and iPhoto. The software is planned for an "Early Adopter" release to coincide with July's Macworld CreativePro Conference & Expo."<br /><br />This is a neat feature: "The solution will also allow users to mount their Pocket PC internal memory and expansion card as a volume on the Mac desktop, to then transfer, delete or install files. CAB files can be dragged and dropped to install them on the Pocket PC." I'd like to be able to do that so I could write script files to manipulate files on my Pocket PC from the Windows command prompt.<br /><br />No word on pricing. Pocket PC 2002 and a USB connection is required. You also need Jaguar on the Mac.

OT slightly...
You can execute shell commands on your device by installing a command shell (dev kit)
You can also copy files and execute them from your Pocket PC today using rapicopy and rapistart on your desktop pc while in an activesync connection.

This is good news for those who use a Mac at home... Pocket Mac (http://www.pocketmac.net/) is fine, but its way too expensive for most people. Hopefully this will help drive down the cost... :D

I like using ISync and wish we had something more similar in Windows-World, it's nice to be able to sync just about any device with a calendar and PIM using only one program...

Sounds Encouraging...I have been waiting for too long for this...Pocket Mac pisses me off so bad I switched to a Kyocera 7135 and have not looked back...It is my everyday tool.

Since the 15" PowerBook was massively reduced in price, I guess it's only a matter of time before the new aluminum based 15" comes around. If so, that will be very tempting!

Having PPC sync to Mac would be the last step to convert my household to a primarily one. Woo hoo!

iSync cannot connect to a PPC. They probably synced their phone, unless I am sadly misinformed.
I wish ActiveSync supported Macs!!
