What I have setup in my ad-hoc network:

Internet <=> 56k Modem <=> Desktop (gateway) <=> USB wireless lan <=> Ipaq 5450

However, I can't seem able to surf internet on my Ipaq 5450. Up to now, I can share files & Activesync wirelessly but no luck with surfing internet with WLAN. Spent 3 long nights already... :cry:

Appreciate some kind assistance thanks...

Hmm, Are you sharring your 56K modem? That would be step one. Then have you enabled it to dial on demand? That would be step two.
What are your setting in |Start (menu) | Settings | Connections (tab) | Connections (icon) | Set to? Should be work Settings | Work Settings | Work | and tap on the center Work Settings Modify... | Proxy Settings | And the top box this network connects to the internet.
