help with windowsmedia skin!

Hi all,

For some reason I lost my WM skins when I loaded the "sync and go" software from our friends at MS. Now I can't open WM because it says I have no skins installed...can someone tell me how I can get one? I have tried some sites but they won't load. Was there a skin built into the rom that I have to have?

Try using :google: "Windows Media skins pocket" The second hit or maybe the first (the one from Microsoft) will have some skins from Windows Media 7.1 for Pocket PC. I have been able to use those skins on my Windows Media Palyer so you might want to start from there to be able to use your player.

To save you the trouble, here (http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/software/pocket/custom.aspx) is the site.

Then, look arround Pocket PC Theme sites since some of them have Windows Media skins.

thanks...I tried that but it still won't take. Now it won't open at all. Don't you hate when something like this happens! and I'm going on vacation in 2 days..

You don't even need Google. A simple search here on skin media would have turned up the "Win. Media Player problem" thread (http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=12850), which dealt with another user who had what sounds like the same problem.
