PenReader vs Transcriber?

I saw on another site that PenReader 4.0 has been released. Does anyone have any experience with this as opposed to Transcriber?

Is that this weekend my inbox was spammed with several announcements about PenReader to even some honeypot e-mail addresses that I have posted with but never, ever given out to a third party.

It appears that the folks at Paragon will soon be caught up in the anti-spam legislation tests going on this weekend.

Can't recommend a product that is marketed via spam, and neither should anyone else.
