Question about e755 screen

Hello all,
PPC novice here, so forgive the stupid question. I just bought a Toshiba e755. The screen is covered with white dots (not the pixels, I mean the glass itself). They organized so I'm guessing they're suppoused to be there. Just reassure me that they are and tell me what they're used for :D

Is this in bright light or sunlight, when you see the screen at an angle where the light reflects off of it? And you're seeing a grid?

If so, you're seeing the touchscreen, and that's normal. However, whenever you hold it in a viewable angle, it shouldn't really be noticeable.
