The review warns, "If you have never played this game then do not read any further if you wish to remain productive or pass those finals. The game is similar in genre to Bejewelled with only one twist -- it is ten times more addictive."

OK, the game idea is good, but I don't find myself playing it all that much. Instead I'm still playing the freebie Easter version, EggHead, which has graphics and sounds that I like better.
I bought Cropped Out some time after Christmas, having first got hooked on the freebie Christmas version, Snowed In, so it must have been around January. Click Gamer did a fix and released a new version not long after I bought it. After the fix, the scores possible in the untimed game rocketed. For me, the game became too easy, it's impossible to lose. I get bored with a game I can't lose, after playing for a couple of hours. I don't even have a best score in the untimed version becuase I can't get killed to get a score into the table! So I only play the timed version now.
Please Click Gamer if you're reading, put out a version where the player loses sometimes; it's more fun that way.

FYI, ClickGamer just dropped the price on Cropped Out from $9.95 USD to $4.95. Of course, I finally ponied up the cash on Monday and noticed the new price today. :(

Now THAT really sucks  ... not for those of you who have not yet bought it, but for us who already laid down the money... Oh well! :D I still think it's worth it. I still don't get a lot of sleep, and I am only # 52 on the high score list...

I agree that it's worth the money. I know I'll be playing this game for a long, long time - which is more than I can say for a lot of the $20-$30 games out there.

My first thought (before playing): that game looks kinda dumb
My first thought (after playing): well, how long should I keep the demo before purchasing it???
Now that it's $5, I can swing that (I am stingy, I mean, frugal afterall).
Correction, I SWUNG that. :)
Now I just have to make it home, mow the lawn, do tons of stuff, THEN I can play, then I can go to work tomorrow .. whoops, forgot to sleep.. oh well. :)
