I am so glad to see National Instruments supporting the PDA, and even better - Pocket PCs as well as the Palm OS.

LabVIEW 7 Express dramatically simplifies the creation of measurement and automation applications and extends LabVIEW to a wider range of targets, from embedded FPGAs to Palm OS and Microsoft Pocket PC PDAs.

Are there any other LabVIEW users in this audiance. I see no reason to use text based coding anymore - I like LabVIEW's graphical development model so much more than anything else. I don't think that it has started shipping yet, but I'll have to get my hands on it ASAP. :D

Oh yes, LabVIEW! :)

It's been a while since I've used this, we used it in college for my microcontroller/microelectronics classes. A Pocket PC version would be pretty cool, however most of the applications we used it for were better suited for development on a PC anyway.. but then again that was academic, not professional real-world stuff.

I remember I enjoyed it very much though, because it was so easy to throw stuff together and get a working hardware-interfacing system!

I have some coworkers who use it, though only on big Windows, not on a PDA. I haven't bought into it yet, though maybe the .NET and PPC tie-ins will mellow my hatred of it. ;-)
