I have several questions:
1) What do people like as a good CF Ethernet card? I like the Socket 10/100 Ethernet card since it has a built-in RJ-45 connector. But I don't know if it's a battery sucker.
2) How do I get the Pocket PC to access Windows networks. Workgroups & Domains.
3) How do I get to print? What software do I need? How to configure?
Any help here would be greatly appreciated.

The Socket seems to be the best, or one of it's clones.
In theory you just plug it in. It will pull all the info that it needs from the network. You may need to do a soft reset first. Really depends on the network, and how it is setup.
I have always liked www.fieldsoftware.com again it depends on what you want to print and on what printer you have. Fieldsoftware seems to offer the widest selection of both applications you can print from, and printers you can print to.

...use a Socket LP-E CF+ card in my iPAQ 3835. It works very well...
HP has a FREE print utility you might look at...I use it to print to an HP LaserJet 6L, which is attached to an XP Pro box, over my wireless LAN.

I have an older HP printer; the HP 722C, which is not even listed on the compatablity page for HP.

If you have a new HP printer, you may get the Hp application to work, if you have an older Hp printer, or another brand the program from fieldsoftware is really way better, LOL it works. Give it a try, you can download and install and see if it does what you need for free :D from http://www.fieldsoftware.com/
