Issues with the 'seek' bar of Pocket MVP

Can anybody double-check this with me: whenever I use the 'seek' bar of PocketMVP to 'forward'(or rewind, for that matter) to a certain part of a mp3, my PocketMVP will hang on me. The exception is, unless I open a file & immediately(& I do mean immediately...before the file even starts to play) forward/rewind(using the seek bar), then it'll not hang.

However, this will not happen with video clips.

As I'm using the latest version(.8.041303) & furthermore, I'd only hard-reset my unit a couple of days ago(thus I don't think it's filled up with junk files nor applications...yet), I'm beginning to suspect whether this is an inherent issue with PocketMVP itself??

So, the bottomline is, can someone try playing a mp3 file & trying the seek bar to forward/rewind just to double-check? Thanks.

I had a problem like this in earlier versions of MVP but not anymore. I am using version .8.040603. Perhaps the newest version has a bug. Did you report it?

PocketMVP 8.041303 has this problem and has been reported. You can always find the info about bugs in PocketMVP and what works at the Project Mayo Forums (http://forums.projectmayo.com/viewforum.php?forum=23).

PocketMVP .8.040603 works, and is available at the PocketMVP Archive (http://pmvp.dellama.com/).
