so with respect to all the software that comes on most ipaqs--like ipaq and the ipaq picture viewer--is there any way to get them on the h1910?

I don't think so.. I have an h3970 and an h3850, and the 3970 comes with Nevo, and the picture viewer, and all that great stuff, but the 3850 doesnt, and I haven't been able to find a way to get them on there.. I guess you'd have to either buy their software, or buy a ppc with those programs embedded in there.. maybet here's a CD? i dunno...

I know you can't transfer Nevo for sure (I tried manually copying it into the proper directories, and then editing the registry so that the iPAQ would think it's a 3955 :( ) Something to do with the lack of IrDA on the iPAQ 1910...

Nevo won't work on the 38xx or the 19xx due to a lack of a "consumer grade" IR port. It's also embedded software written specifically for that unit just like the IBM ViaVoice. Others will work if you know exactly what files to copy. nuff said.
