I just received the spare battery that I ordered for my h5455 and noticed something I hadn't seen on the original battery. (It is there on the original, I just hadn't noticed it before.) On the end of the battery that has the contacts is a tiny white switch that would be pressed in when the battery is connected to the iPAQ or a charger. Does anyone know what this little switch does? I don't think I've seen such a thing on the actual battery before, though such a switch is common on devices themselves.

I have that switch on all my 5450 batteries. I not sure what it does, at first I thought it was used to turn off the voltage to the contacts when the battery isn't in the unit but I check the contacts with a meter and the voltage is still there with the witch in either position.
