E335 for $125

Ben's Bargains has a link for a Toshiba rebate and an Amazon rebate on the Toshiba e335 (http://www.bensbargains.net/ktalk/1052730160,50836,.shtml) that brings the total down to as low as $125. Seems to be some discuccion around the Toshiba rebate (If it's 50 or 100 off for certain dates of purchase.). Could be a good deal for someone in the Zire range that wants PPC functions.

Read the fine print ... most rebate offers cannot be combined with other rebate offers. Though ... that Amazon rebate only requires COPIES of the paperwork, not the original UPC. =:} If you can only get teh $100 rebate, then the final price would be $150. Still a nice deal, eh?

There's something fishy about that "$50 or $100 rebate, depending on your date" rebate (http://www.web-rebates.com/toshiba/07457h/). Nothing on the printed page states the determining factor. I guess you'd have to call and find out. And pre-qualifying online requires the PDA to be in hand. >:P

But ... the $20 rebate is an Amazon rebate, not Toshiba. so the likelihood of disqualification is rather slim.

Not to disagree with you. ... I've read quite a few posts on other sites from young pups who whined, "they didn't give me my mail-in rebate, so I'm never trusting a mail-in rebate ever again for the rest of my life. :_(" I make a habit of chanting, RTFP or "read the fine print" lest others of the same ilk cry "I was robbed!"
