I have a lot of notes I like to keep both in Outlook and on my HP1910.

Is there a way to have the notes stored to a user configurable folder on the handheld (preferably on the SD card)?

I have tried HPC Notes Standard edition and while it has many features that seem superior to the built in app, it does not seem to handle voice notes or free form graphics (ink).

Does anyone know of other Notes apps?

You could try NotesExplorer (freeware), which allows you to configure the root for your notes, and which (I believe) can be on your storage card. Only problem with that is that I don't think you'll be able to sync them to Outlook, if that's important to you.

Check MightySync. I haven't used it, but I hear that it will sync up folders anywhere on your PPC, incl. the removeable memory.

Whether it will sync notes from your SD card to Outlook Notes is another question. I notice that my notes that are saved to CF memory are not in Outlook with ActiveSync. Kind of a silly limitation of the PPC OS.
