Would like to know if anyone out there, who has purchased a Pocket Informant software for their Pocket PC, has experienced the lack of customer service skills by the folks of Handango ? I misplaced my order # for their latest release (PI # 4.1) and cannot seem to get any assitance from them via email. You can "fuuggett about it" in attempting to find a phone # listing. It's a shame---the software is outstanding. But, without my registration code, it lock's up some it's unique features.

I have found the following telephone number at the following location, about halfway down, right above the maps (not toll free, but still a number):

Phone: (817) 280-0129

I also have the following in an email I received regarding a purchase I made recently.

Handango Customer Service Fax Line: 817-548-2182
International Customer Fax Line: 011-1-1-817-548-2182

Forget about contacting them by phone. It will not work and you will just be wasting your dime.

I had problems with another program that I purchased through them. It took them awhile to get things fixed (not their fault) but I had to do it by email.

Go to the Customer Support part of their sight and let them know what you are looking for. They should respond within 1 working day. Next time you buy something from them be sure to save any emails they send you with the necessary info so you can save yourself some hassle next time.

Well. I finally received assistance from Handango. After 4 faxes, countless of emails and attempted phonecalls, they re-send my registration code. Lessons learned: once you get that email with your order # and instructions on how to get your registration code, safeguard it as if it was your birth certificate !! :byebye:

that is true, when you get that stuff keep it in your email, put on your hard drive, and burn it on a cd. they like to take your money but they are not good sports about supporting you with that kind of info. not necessarily them, but in general of businesses.

another good use for a digital wallet: ie flexwallet, ewallet, codewallet.

I keep all of my software reg#'s in my wallet on both my desktop and pocket pc.
