I need some hardware help. I am thinking of getting a Shuttle XPC Small From Factor computer that will dedicated for Digital Video. There are two models that I can easily get that are the same price.

Shuttle XPC SN41G2 NGF2 with AGP8x Slot
Shuttle XPC SB51G i845GE with AGP 4xSlot

I am not sure what the difference between the two is. Or which is better suited to digital video capture and editing.
I am also not clear as to what comes with the Shuttle which is $500 CDN.

Do I need to purchase memory and a CPU?
I already have a DVD burner I plan to install.
I also assume that I will need a hard drive.

Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks

The 41 is for AMD CPUs. The 51 is for Intel. The 41 has the nForce2, which is a more powerful graphic chip than the SiS on the 51.

Check out the specs here: http://us.shuttle.com/

The machines are very similar, it really boils down to which type of CPU you want to put in there - AMD or Intel.
