Is a refurbished Toshiba e740 a bad investment ?

I am looking at moving from my HP720 Jornada Handheld (Oyster case design with QWERTY keyboard, modem etc) to a Pocket PC.

Want to keep the price down. e740 would suit well.

A few places are clearing the factory refurbished e740's with full factory warranty for $289'ish.

Bang for buck it looks good value....I like the idea of inbuilt wireless. They seem like a good deal.

Has anyone bought one of the factory refurbished e740's.

Anyone heard anything good or bad.

Costco is selling NEW E740 units for $299. It's a no-brainer if you already have a membership (or know someone who does)...

I just had a look on the Costco site. They only have HP PDAs showing.

Would you happen to have a link to a page with the $299 items...
