Where Is Purple Software

Does anyone know anything about the company called Purple Software? They had a great Othello knock off called Theole and a great Chess game. I was originally running their software on an Ipaq, but have since upgraded to a Dell Axim and they just do not seem to work on the Dell Axim. I missed those two quality games and have not been able to get anyone at Purple Software to respond to an email.

Anyone know how to get them to respond or get their software to work on a XScale processor.

Does that mean I can freely distribute their software now since it appears useless to me? Can they still claim a copyright violation?
