I need a SMS / Fax / Mobile Phone Book editor for my mobile phone. I used WinPhone-Pocket with my siemens sl45 and it worked fine. However, I have now upgraded to a Nokia 6610. Is there any software to support this phone? What are the alternatives to WinPhone Pocket?

hmm, not sure about the fax capabilities, but the two main "competitors" are

mPhone (http://www.mobem.com) and IA Phone Manager (http://www.iastyle.com/iapm/index.asp)

i decided to go with IA Phone Manager because while i was testing both demo versions at the same time the IA Style team was quick to respond to my questions and tend to my problems.
also, you can manager multiple phones at the same time, each phone has it's own data file. easy to back up.
but they're not really working on this program at the moment since they're working hard on smartphone products.

mobem mPhone seems to have more gadgets included, and is very popular, but they never replied to my inquiries (there were a couple!), so i decided to "boycott" them.

i probably made the wrong choice there :) but i'm still happy with IA Phone Manager.

mphone support has been a bit patchy, by the looks of the software sites - but I'm tempted to give it a go with my 8910

the mPhone team took only a couple of days to respond to my question about multiple phones - you can do it, and its very good. gets my vote!

oh - theres also phone king - but i havent tried that.
