Hi
I am looking for a PDA friendly site to add to my PDA via Avantgo which will list (for free) what is on the television that day.
I'm in the UK so there are only 5 main channels - BBC1, BBC2, ITV, C4 and C5.
Anyone got a good recommendation - I tried Annanova but couldn't get it to work.

I use DigiGuide.
They have a free service which just lists the names of the programmes, and for £7 or so a year, you can get the full service where you can follow a link to the programme description.
Not very exciting, but actually very useful.
BTW, they offer two products; one which is a Windows app, and the other is a browser based offering which can be handled by AvantGo. You want the latter.

I couldn't find an acceptable free listing source. After a 14 day trial of the Radio Times on your PDA (http://radiotimes.tvcompass.com/rt/Home.aspx) service, I paid the annual subscription of ~£15.
This provides you with a very nice client application that syncs with the listings (like avantgo, this can be handled by ActiveSync) for the main 5, NTL, Sky, Radio, etc. It also highlights your favourite shows, displays recommendations and has a basic remote control function. You also get brief show descriptions.
