I noticed that Handango just listed this -- not just for email or AIM, but the whole browser thing. Has anyone tried it?

The installation instructions say you need Active-Sync 3.6, which I've never bothered to upgrade to. I've seen some threads about compatibility issues with Axims and Toshibas. Does anyone know of any issues with iPAQ 3975 (without the latest ROM update)?

I have the beta AOL2.0 and it works exceptionally well. It uses Pocket IE as it's browser so your favorites are saved. It has the whole USA area code dial-up numbers stored so you can log-in while travelling easily. And it's fast. I installed via AS3.5 without problems to my 3955.

Thanks, bmhome1.

I guess I'll try it with 3.5 also.

Just remember I installed a beta version from about three weeks ago and can't recommend using 3.5 without fully backing up your PPC first.

Thanks.

I did a backup first, and then installed it. It seems to work fine.

I do think it's a little annoying that they charge 20.00 for it, when the PPC 2000 version was free. Since it took them so long, I certainly hope it will work with PPC 2003.

just incase you guys didn't notice. 2.0 doesn't use the address book from your aol database or what ever you would call it, instread it uses the contacts from your outlook database on your ppc. i have a 3970 and it works fine EXCEPT!!! for the bluetooth. It seems to have a problem pulling down my buddy list when im connected through bluetooth. When im using wifi it works fine....im not too sure why.
