Just got an Ipaq 1910 with extra battery and cradle and 256mb card. I am trying to figure out some things.

I tried to transfer a mpeg file to the card but it didn't show up. I have music there and I put the file (Killer Bean) into the same file but it didn't do anything. I tried to play it with WMP.

I installed a couple of programs (Warring States/Rayman) on the card but the icons show up in the drop down menu and it won't let you uncheck them. Also, the icons to play the game show up in the 'programs' folder and not in the game. How can I put the icons in the game folder so they open up the application.

This is it for now, but I am sure I will have a ton of questions shortly. Only had it for two days, still going through a period of questioning - should I have bought the TT or the Z71? I hope this turns out to be the best purchase!

I don't know how to resolve the MPEG problem, but the easiest way to manipulate what is in the Programs drop-down is through the File Explorer (either on the device itself or through ActiveSync)... I don't remember exactly where it is, but there is a Menus (or something like that folder) that you can cut/paste icons to and from...

Sorry for the vague answers, someone else will jump in to help...

And so I jump in.

Your Start Menu things are located in My Device>Windows>Start Menu. In that folder will be the 9 items on your Start Menu. Then, within that Start Menu folder is Programs, which is the Programs list you get from Start>Programs.

Then within the Programs folder is Games. That may be where you wanna put Rayman. Just tap-and-hold the shortcut, select Cut, then Paste it in the Games folder.

As for the MPEG problem, I'm not sure that WMP plays .mpeg files. You can get a DivX and MPEG player in PocketMVP (http://www.pocketmvp.com), which is freeware and goodware.

And stick with the Pocket PC. :D

I'm not sure about WMP either. The Windows version plays MPEG files, I have not tried the PPC WMP for ages.

Even though, anyone claiming to be a Spurs fan does have somewhat suspect judgement, I would agree that the best thing you can do is download PocketMPV and forget about WMP.

Aha, something tells me that you might not be refering to Tottenham Hotspur but someother Spurs like San Antonio.

Since I was brought up as an Arsenal fan, it's in my genes to be mean to Spurs supporters.

Maybe your judgement isn't so bad afterall.
