Any Dutch out here that might be willing to ship me some Aroma Rood (500g packages)? The US importers mark up the price 300%! I'm willing to pay actual costs and shipping (PayPal), and would repay the favor in a similar way.

How manny do you need?
Also the US$ is really low right now so it might not be as cheap as you think it is.

Looks like Holland American Bakery (http://hollandamericanbakery.com/storefront/html/Other_Dutch_Grocery_Items.cfm) has the stuff for $7.90 for a 500g bag...is that expensive? I'm truly curious - I've never really been into "real" coffee - just iced drinks. :D

Strangely enough, my company has a Douwe Egberts machine in the breakroom. I think the non-decaf blend is Arabica, though - otherwise I'd snag some for you.

That's not a bad price, as I've seen it go upwards of $9.75 USD elsewhere. In the Netherlands it sells for about 3€ per 500g brick.

If you like a simple, rich coffee I highly recommend trying it. It's not too acidic, but is full of flavor and beats anything you'll find at Starbucks.
