Hi,

Sorry to say I am new to pocket pcs, too. Thanks in advance for your patience.

I got a 256 MB card, and I'd like to free as much of the built-in memory for software and use the card for all files or databases such as contacts, tasks and stuff.

It seems that the default Pocket_PC folder on my desktop only hotsyncs the built-in memory of the Toshiba, so the contacts wouldn't transfer properly to and from Outlook anymore if I kept them on the card.

Is it somehow possible to hotsync the entire SD card (or, even better, selected folders on the card) to accomplish what I plan on doing? How would I have to go about it?

Thanks much for your help. It's appreciated.

No, you can't sync with the card. It's not meant for your core contacts & appointment database.

What it's meant for is data & programs. When you're installing new programs, say NO to the "install to default location?" question, then you'll get the option of installing that software to the memory card.

Also, you can put music, photos, and more on the card. Enjoy!
