I hope i'm just missing something because i recently downloaded the newer real player for pocket pc from Real's site and it is still pure and utter crap! It will not play any of my video[real] files.. all i get is audio.. and if i pause the file after being a while into it i get a still from somewhere earlier into the file..... I have tried soft resets to free up memory... i have checked the files to make sure that they are good and I have checked that I have enough free space and memory to play the files... The only thing I can think of is maybe its because i am playing the files off of an SD card and not Main memory which would likely be faster... Anybody here able to help??? I am attempting to view some 33 or so meg video files that are real format.. Thanks - Rooks308 :|

My only suggestion is to transcode to a format which doesn't need RealPlayer. I have had success transcoding to WMV, and although it is a pain, at least I can see what I need to on the PocketPC, and I have one less app installed on my device. You can also transcode to DivX or many other AVI formats.
RMConverter from BoilSoft will do the job, there are also some others I believe.

I've tried going down this route but RM converter wasn't too successful. While the video and audio were both converted, they were well out of sync and no matter what I did, I could not get them back together. :(
