Hungry for your larger digital or 35mm SLR camera, your MP3 jukebox, your portable gaming device, your GPS, or just about any other handheld technology product, along with every cord, adapter, card and battery that goes with it. Feed it all to Podzilla...and watch your fingers."<br /><br />I'm a HUGE fan of RoadWired gear - it's some of the best quality stuff I've ever seen. I've had a regular Pod sitting in front of me, begging for a review for the past few months, so when I saw the announcement of Podzilla, I got pretty excited. These cases are awesome for carrying your gear!<br /><br />They've also got a sweet case for professional photographers called FlashFolio- it's designed to carry up to 18 memory cards. Nice... Is it European?
I think, for it to qualify as a Man Purse it has to be European.

I was trying to browse their stupid bags and cases, but their stupid website is so bloody unorganized and small, I cant navigate at all.
I guess they'll lose two or three orders from me; website design is most important to customers on the web.

Check this (http://www.mobileexpert.ca/roadwired.asp) out. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised :)
Only thing is, they don't have Podzilla yet.

IMO, eBags (www.ebags.com)is a better online bags site. It's much better organized, has a huge variety, & has customer ratings of bags. You can also see enlarged pics & also the bags in different colors. Amazon.com (www.amazon.com) has pretty good pics, info, & customer reviews too, but there isn't as many selections.
And they both ship to Can. as well. ;)

I actually didn't find Roadwired's website that bad. However, the only way to find the Podzilla is to do a search for it. I guess it is too new to categorize it yet under pda.
In any event, I went to a luggage store with all my pda gadgets and just couldn't fit everything in "the pod". I was very disappointed because it is so good looking.
Having read somewhere that a larger version was coming out shortly, I called Roadwired for the dimensions and decided to place my order. I can't wait!!

I own two Pods. RoadWired is on the money. When I spoke with them in March, they informed me that a larger sized Pod would be available by the end of April. They weren't kidding. The Podzilla will probably become my new everyday work bag. I can put everything I need (Digital Camera, Pocket PC, headphones, business cards, GPS device, pager, cell phone, keys, memory cards and extra batteries in the same place. The bungee cords in the side compartment makes the case function like a mini version of their awesome cable stable. e-bags usually has discounts, so they may offer better deals than the Roadwired website.

Hmm. Thanks for the link guys.
For some reason, I found the Podzilla after 10 minutes, as it was hidden in the "camera/video" section. I didnt notice they had the link which dispayed all of the products.
Sheesh! 70 bucks for that bag!? I know it must come in handy, but don't some of you think $70! is a bit too much?
PS. I'm thinking of changing my LCD from 1600 X 1200, to something lower, but its obviously not optimized for any other resolution. I'll probably use that AccessDirect program Dell sent me to change font sizes.

Hello, all from RoadWired. This is actually my very first time posting anything on any discussion site (Jason, thanks for the invitation to do so, and readers, forgive the length of the post and any other beginner's errors). I have always felt it is better for manufacturers not to chime in on these things, for a variety of reasons, but I happened to see some of the comments and thought I would at least let you know that we really do pay attention and care.
Fzara, I am really sorry you seem to have had such a disappointing experience on our site, and would be happy to discuss it or help you feel better about us any time. For what it's worth--and I think many PPCT members would agree--most of our feedback is very good, and we are very proud of the wonderful "fan following" that we have. But we care deeply about any negative feedback and take it very seriously. We are as responsive a company as I think you'll find, and I hope we can win you over some day... at least, maybe, convince you to think something better of us than "stupid!"
In answer to your specific concern, Podzilla is actually intentionally “buried” in the site right now, mainly because we have had some delivery delays and we really don’t like to push products until we are positive of when we can ship them… and we *really* hate to make promises we can’t keep. As much as it is wonderful for any business to build a backlog of orders, we are somewhat “old fashioned” when it comes to customer service, and do everything we can to avoid disappointing people, even if it means waiting a bit longer to really sell a product. That being said, now that we have a handle on the final delivery (thanks to the increasingly-common outbound port delays, we are 2 weeks behind, now looking at mid-May), we can be more confident in our promises, update the shipping info and and start to move the new products to more prominent positions within the site (in direct response to your comments, we just put a link on the home page a moment ago).
As for the price, an old mentor once gave me one of my favorite business expressions, and something that has always guided us: "I would rather explain the price than apologize for the quality." Cliche, perhaps, but true. That said, I think you will find that at $69.95 (our retailers will probably offer some promotional prices once up and running), Podzilla is very competitive with other bags of its size from other respected high-end manufacturers. Trust me, it is no small feat to sew over 20 pockets into all those little nooks and crannies!
I hope that is at least a little helpful. Thanks for putting up with my long first-time post, and please do keep the feedback--good or bad--coming. We are listening.

As with all things in life, you get what you pay for. I've found Road Wired products to be of the highest quality, but if saving money is more important to you than quality, they might not be the best company to buy from. :-)

That's the real problem - that's a VERY high resolution. You should either:
1) Change the font size of your brower to bump it up a step, or
2) If you have Windows XP, adjust the DPI upwards. Right click on your desktop, go into PROPERTIES > SETTINGS > ADVANCED and adjust the DPI upwards a little. 120 dpi might be too big, so try 110 and see what you think.

I have a POD and love it. Fact is that although I carry most of my stuff in my SCOTTeVEST, www.scottevest.com, of course, I am always testing new styles/versions and need one single location to store my gear on those occassions.
My Pod rocks. It is very well designed, and I can only imagine that the Podzilla rocks just bigger.
Keep up the good work!
Scott
