I'm starting to realize that I don't like scrolling through all the icons. I use list form on my desktop for everything and I'm wondering if there is a reg tweak to change over the programs list to a list not icons. Anyone know how?
Thanks.

You could always make a shortcut to the 'windows/startmenu/programs' folder in file explorer.

Take a look at xShortcut (http://www.ppclink.com/xShortcut.html) and see if it does what you want. I realize that it's a third-party app instead of changing the actual Programs menu, but it seems to be ok.

xShortcut works well for what it does, but I'm looking to also incorporate folders into it. xShortcut doesn't look like it does that.

Try Ghisler.com's Total Commander CE (freeware). You can have a "directory short cut" to the start menu and drill down from there. Features a big icon, list, and "full" (details) view. Lastest version remembers your last directory used.
Also has other bells and whistles I couldn't live without, but perhaps you can.

You may want to take a look at Pocket Facelift (http://www.pocketfacelift.com).
One of the things it does besides giving you the ability to full screen theme your device is its start menu is much more like windows. When you click on something in your start menu like programs it doesn't take you to a screen with a bunch of icons, instead it expands and gives you another pane to the start menu.
Check it out. I think they have a demo.
