Cranking up the screen brightness

Are there any utilities out there that let you crank up the brightness of the LCD beyond the factory max? I use my Axim in my car a lot, and while I can read it on max brightness, I'd like it to be a bit brighter. I've done a few searches but haven't found anything.

Not AFAIK, but remember it's a little bit dangerous to look at it when driving. :D

i find that full-blast-brightness in the dark actually hurts my eyes.
