I think i already know the answer to this, but I just want to confirm it. Does the Compaq/HP folding keyboard work with the 5450 as well as the 3800/3900 series? I think the connector is the same but I want to verify it before I order one. I can't find anything on HP's site to confirm it for me.

Yes.

The version for the 31/36/3700 even works if you have the adapter for the 38/3900. I have this version, and the keyboard works just fine.

Kind Regards,

It works as good as the previous models. I installed the driver with no problems at all, however the Compaq logo is replaced with HP, but written on the packing “for H3800 and H3900 series” nothing mentioned about H5400, but I tried it and it works.

I bought mine in BestBuy and it had a read sticker added that said Now Compatible With 5400 series.

Sounds great, but guys how often you use your keyboard?

It is useful but I rarely use it

I don't use my keyboard often but when I do it's a godsend. I am writing a book and there are times when my laptop is not with me but my iPAQ is.
