I have to give them credit. When they first released a version that they said would let even complicated docs make a round trip without damage, I downloaded and installed it and threw one of my technical papers at it. Hundreds of MathType equations, graphics, images, tables... it failed miserably and totally garbled the document. So I sent them the file and explained what it did, though I never heard back from them. :(
Then they released another trial version but it didn't support saving to Word format. Well after that last experience, I sure wasn't going to pay (what I consider excessive) money to find out whether or not they'd fixed the thing. :silly:
So this time I downloaded the desktop and new trial version and I threw another tough technical document at it. I'm pleased to say that it came through nicely. :way to go:
Way back when they first suggested in these forums that they might make a PPC version, I told them that if they could make my Word documents round trip, I'd buy it if it was priced reasonably. Well they made the product work and they offered it at a reasonable ($US34) price, so I bought it.
Cheers to these guys! They've done an excellent job.
