Won't keep connection with computer

I can't send any large files to my Axim or ActiveSync a large AvantGo profile because it becomes disconnected like immediately and pretends it's not there. IS there some setting that makes it lose connection after like 30 seconds?

It sounds like a problem I had sending large files (usually MP3s) to my iPAQ 3870. The file transfer would start, but, part way through, I'd hear the disconnect sound and couldn't connect again without shutting down ActiveSync.

I haven't had the problem in a while, but I haven't transferred any large files lately, either. I don't remember if the problem disappeared after installing ActiveSync 3.6 or not, but you might try 3.6 if you don't have it.
