Recently I converted from using PLAM to WINDOWS CE.

I just bought an IPAQ 5450

But I realise a distinct difference between IPAQ and CLIE..

I can't hold the IPAQ? :(

'hold' not meaning how I hold it.. but meaning.. putting the IPAQ on hold.. so that it does not display anything but yet music can be heard and stuff.

There used to be a yellow switch to the side of the clie for me to put the device on hold.. but now.. the ipaq do not have this function :(

Meaning.. I have to on the IPAQ.. while listening to music.. which in turn means.. faster power consumption.

Anybody? Any ideas on how to put this IPAQ on Hold? Or any smart power saving tricks for me to apply while listening to mp3s?

Thanks
Aaron

Assuming you're using Windows Media Player on your PPC, open up WMP, go to Tools, Settings, Buttons. Select "Toggle Screen" as your function, then press a button to map it.

Then, while you're playing music, you just press that button, and your screen goes off. That should do it!

Enjoy the new iPaq.
