AOL Instant messenger help needed

Hi all...a newbie here......I have the pocket pc from t-mobile...I installed aol instant messenger on it, but the problem I have is that when I sign on I can't stay signed on...it disconnects me automatically..how do you stay connected to aol im without having to keep signing on??if somebody could help me I would appreciate it

It should stay signed on for as long as your PDA is powered on and connected to an internet source. Since you have a phone, i'm curious if when you change to the phone functionality, it disconnicts AIM from the internet.
