If your OS is in english, then the "e" version is the one for you. f and g are for german and french os.

I installed it on my 5450 - it works fine - but I haven't noticed any differences - yet.

The link on Microsoft's Pocket PC page (http://www.microsoft.com/mobile/pocketpc/downloads/transcriber.asp) still points to 1.5. I'd imagine there's a reason they haven't linked the new version yet. Just don't ask me what that reason is. :)
