I'm travelling to USA next week and want to pick up a USB2.0 multi-card reader. I'll be able to pop into a local Fry's - so I checked what they have on their online shop. This was the only 2.0 reader I could find.

I also heard some people have problems with some readers, where the reader causes write/read errors or bad block on flashcards.

Is this PQI reader any good?

TIA

Is this PQI reader any good?

Well I have the older white USB 1.0 (or 1.1) version and haven't had any problems with it but I only use it for Compact Flash cards at the moment.

I have the Sandisk 6-in-1 USB 2.0 reader. It works great, as does my older, USB 1.1 Sandisk CF reader.

If only the Sandisk SD cards were as reliable.

I have that reader, I picked it up at Fry's on vacation myself. It works great, especially nice if you are upgrading from a usb 1.0 reader. Speed difference is amazing. Easy to use/install too.

Can't find that one on Outpost. How much was it at Frys?
