Well, I edited registry and moved Avant Go to my SD Card. So far so good. I set up my account and registered for a weather page. I added avant go to the sync menu and gave it a shot.

The connection is successful, but then it tells me to upgrade my AvantGO software. I tried to update, but I already have the most current build. Any ideas??

Alright, I reversed the registry setting so the Axim was back to default settings. I tried to sync again, and it was successful! However, when I click on Pocket Internet Explorer, it still says that no AvantGo content was found. Now what?

Have you done a soft reset after altering the registry?

I managed to get it to work with default registry settings.

Now I'm trying to use registry edit and try again. My Axim recognizes my card as "SD Card" so when I edited registry I put in "\SD Card\avantgo. It this correct??

Pocket IE is back to telling me that AvantGo content can't be found.

Check out PHM's Site Store Avantgo on Storage Card (http://www.phm.lu/PocketPC/RegTweaks/Tweak.asp?ref=6)

Alright, I made final registry changes and performed soft reset. IT WORKED!! Thanks Spurs!!

Another question though. Is it normal for sync to take a lot longer?? ActiveSync only took 20 seconds when Avant was on internal memory. This time it took approx 2 mins.

But I still think ERJRy is right; on the Axim, the SD card isn't designated "Storage Card," it's assigned the label of "SD Card." So, that needs to be taken into account when doing the AvantGo hack.

WyattE is right.

It's a simply directory location- but the directory must be identified correctly. In my case it was \SD Card\avantgo
