I am going to be in Canada for a month this summer. I use GPRS over bluetooth the connect my Ipaq 3970. I love this setup. When I go to Canada, I want to be able to continue to use this. I have T-Mobile, and an unlocked world phone.

I asked FIDO if they had a prepaid data "package", they said no. I then asked if I could sign up for one month of data, then cancel. I think the answer was yes, but I would have to be a resident of canada, have the canadian equivalent of a social security number, and such. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions? I don't mind paying 50$ for a month of unlimited data, but I need to be able to have the GPRS access. Thank you.

Do you know anyone in Canada? It might be best to get a friend to get you the SIM and then cancel it after a month...
