ok, well it may not be the ultimate of all screen comparisons.
loox vs. iPAQ 5450 vs. iPAQ 3950, check it out (http://www.aua.com/tmp/dan/loox/)

Wow! That really shows the shocking difference between side-lit and back-lit screens. Once you go back-lit, it's hard to go back to anything else...
PS - Since you're advertising something on your site, technically it's best to use the Announcement forums, and/or to submit it to us as news. :D

Uh, that's gotta be a 3850, not a 3950, in the middle. I own a 3870, so I know that screen.

Jason,
These pictures/link are hosted privately - not by f'loox.org (though I can see how it might look otherwise at first glance).
Janak,
You may be right but I'm not so sure - having held (since I've owned both) a 3970 and 5450 side by side - the 5450 is very much the brighter - though the viewing angle on the 3970 was much wider and the 5450, perversely, is poorer in direct sunlight (IMHO the advantage that the backlit screen can still have, for the moment, is superiority in sunlight - though I expect that will change before long...)
