Axim -> CF to PCMCIA Adapter ->PCMCIA Ricochet Modem?

Hello everyone. I have had an Axmin for awhile and am now trying to come up with a connectivity solution. The Ricochet midem is free after a rebate, and they have a PCMCIA modem.

I found this device:

It is a CF to PCMCIA Adapter

This shoudl work, shouldnt it? $29 for unlimited data sounds really tempting.

I spoke with Ricochet, and they said that this should work. Battery life will ne an issue. I will test it out and post my results here.

Hmmm... I wonder if I could get a free modem and service from the "new" Ricochet to compensate me for the now-worthless Metricom stock in my 401(k)? :wink:
