Is the 'intentional' hard reset = 'accidental' hard reset?

Is the hard reset we do intentionally the same as that which occurs when our PDQs run outta battery?

Sure is. The intentional hard reset basically disconnects the battery temporarily, same as when a battery runs completely down.
