Pocket TV at http://www.mpegtv.com/wince/pockettv/ is very good and like DivX free of charge.

Pocket DivX was renamed to Pocket MVP (Music and Video Player) months ago. And the link Sheynk posted points to a very old version of it. You can download the latest release at www.pocketmvp.com, and learn more about how to use it at http://forums.projectmayo.com. It's still completely free.

The "Classic" edition of Pocket TV is free, but it's a bit crippled performance-wise compared to the "Enterprise" edition, which costs $49. The latest version of Pocket MVP uses a new MPEG decoder that performs almost as well as Pocket TV Enterprise. However, you should also try converting your MPEGs to DivX. That way you'll get files that are 3 to 6 times smaller but with comparable quality.
