AVI HELP

I downloaded a couble of TV shows off Kazaalite and they are in the .avi format. When I try to play them in WMP on the desktop, it just has sound and says error downloading codec. The movies don't work in Windows Movie Maker and Kazaalite theatre. I want to convert it into .wmv for my ipaq. What should I do?

Ran in to the same problem here. They are probably in DivX format. Download the codec from http://www.divx.com.

If you want to convert them for your iPaq, Windows Media Converter may be able to open them with the codec. I am able to open DivX movies in Pinnacle Studio 7, which can export in almost every widespread format except QuickTime. (:mecry:)

It worked. Thanks. Now only if the video didn't lag behind the stupid sound.
