The new chips promise higher performance and longer battery life in less space than previous versions.

Let's try to keep the "news" new. :-) This was a home page posting (http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=10548) back on March 24. A search on PXA260 would have found that.

I know you probably didn't mean it, but I kind of got the feeling of hostility and sarcasm from your message. Let's not scare the newcomers away. :)

I have to agree with Shadowcat. Besides I'm glad Spy Eagle posted it because I didn't know about the other 2 chips.

Steve's just a brief fellow -- don't assume there's implied sarcasm, although he is too brief at times. ;)

In any case, if you ever feel there's newsworthy content, please submit it using the "Submit" link above. Don't worry, we won't roast you if it's a duplicate... it really does help and makes a difference. :)

Last -- this is why you really must check PPCT on a daily basis. It's slow as of the last few days, but so much goes on over here.

I was quite sure it wasn't implied sarcasm, as I've seen Steve post a lot around the forums and seems like a nice guy/gal. It's just that people new to the site might not know that, that's all. No hard feelings please! :D

I consider myself a loyal PPCT reader. I skim through it every morning before rushing off to work, I sometimes check what's up once or twice at work, and I check multiple times in the evening, so I don't miss much! 8)

There was no sarcasm there (except for the "news" in quotation marks). I even put a smiley there to indicate I was trying to be a bit humorous. The main intent was to make the point that doing a search before posting news is probably a good idea. Unless you religiously follow the home page, you can miss quite a bit. (The same applies to asking questions; sometimes a search will get you an answer without even having to post.)

And, just for the record, I am a guy. (There's no "male" O-> icon.)

I guess I was a bit sensitive. Sorry!

It's cool. That's why I suggested using search before posting. There's tons of stuff here that you won't know about unless you look.

And, as Janek said, use Submit News if you find something newsworthy.

Don't mind us too much; we're just a talkative bunch around here. Glad to have you join us. Feel free to ask questions if you have any, but also tour around the site and learn all the features; there's a wealth of information within. :D
